Hi, Readers -

Welcome to 4 Star Stories Issue 19!

We feel here at 4 Star Stories that our job is to give you the best imaginative, thought-provoking science fiction and fantasy stories we can. We couldn't do that, of course, without the hard work of our contributors and the support of you our readers. This issue we think we have an outstanding mix of both.

We are proud to present five Science Fiction and Fantasy adventures for you to read and stay warm with, as well as our thought-provoking article, UFO Engine Construction Manual.

Rescue Me explores the impact of First Contact. It reveals strong characters and is told with humor

A Flattering Likeness is a fantasy story recounting the adventures of an inspiration-starved artist who becomes a marked man and encounters more problems than any artist deserves to encounter.

In The Final Trait we have the powerful story of an alien sent to Earth to understand human ways who learns the meaning of sacrifice by making the ultimate one to save the human she loves.

In Future Virtual Love we have the Blade Runner-esque story of a man who will go to extreme lengths to preserve the artificial intelligence of the woman he loves.

Finally for our Bonus Story this issue we have Life with Erin, a humorous recounting of the problems that arise for a graduate student when she gets a thousands-of-years- old goddess trapped in her head.

So, sit back, take a sip of your favorite warm libation (ahhhh!), grab your mouse, and get ready to enjoy. We are headed out on an adventure, and we’ll see you again in Issue 20 of 4 Star Stories appearing next year!
